Bowen State High School is acknowledging National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence on Friday 18 March by allowing students to wear an orange top. This annual day is Australia’s key anti-bullying event for schools, and encourages all students to ‘take a stand together’ against bullying and violence in schools, the classroom and beyond.

Students wishing to participate in National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence must adhere to the following dress code:

  • An orange t-shirt, sports shirt or jersey
  • No singlets or midriffs
  •  No offensive slogans
  • No excess jewellery
  • Normal school shoes
  • Normal school attire from the waist down (navy shorts for boys and navy skirt or skort for girls)

Please note that this is a school event and students must still dress appropriately.
